Group kimono rental FAQ
Should I enquire in advance about a group kimono rental?
Yes. Please enquire before your visit so Kanwa can discuss the date, preferred shop, group size and requested services. An enquiry does not confirm a reservation.
How are group size and dressing arrangements handled?
Share your total group size and adult and child numbers in the enquiry. Whether guests dress together or in stages depends on the date, shop and requested services, and must be confirmed with Kanwa.
How much preparation time should our group allow?
There is no single preparation time for every group. Kanwa will discuss timing after reviewing your group size, participant needs and optional services.
Can we request photography, makeup or hairstyling?
Photography and makeup can be requested as optional add-on services, subject to advance confirmation of availability, fees and arrangements. Hairstyling can also be discussed; what is included depends on the selected rental plan.
How much does a group kimono experience cost?

Can we change or cancel our group booking, and when should we return the kimono?
If your plans change, please contact Kanwa as soon as possible to discuss changes or cancellation. Please confirm the kimono return time with your chosen shop before your visit.
